Yuriy Kushnir

My name is Yuriy [ˈjuɹi] and I am a linguist and language teacher.
I am currently a member of the Cyclic Optimization research unit at the linguistics deparment of Leipzig University. I also teach Lithuanian and German at the Spracheninstitut an der Universität Leipzig. I earned a doctorate degree in linguistics from Leipzig University in early 2019. My thesis can be found here. In addition to natural language, I have worked extensively as a computer programmer for various organizations in Ukraine, the US and Germany. I am primarily interested in grammar theory, particularly in issues happening at the syntax-PF interface.
